Last September 10th the Secretary of Telecommunications and Information Society of the Generalitat de Catalunya (STSI) introduced the new Framework Agreement of ICT Services to representatives from the Catalan Official College of IT Engineers (COEIC), the Catalan Association of IT Companies (CatEI, where Gabriel Rissola, Director at D-O-T, serves as Secretary), the Catalan Association of OSS Companies (CatPL) and the Catalan Association of Informatics and Telematics Entrepreneurs (ASEITEC).

The promoters of this new association that intends to become a reference for the ICT sector in Catalonia met in Barcelona last 1 April. The act counted on the participation as invited speaker of Mr. Josue Sallent, General Director of the Information Society of the Generalitat de Catalunya. Launching and associates recruitment strategies were discussed during the meeting. 

CATEI is presided by Mr. Jordi Marín, former Secretary de Telecomunications and Information Society of the Generalitat de Catalunya and current Managing Director of the Digital Partnership Mataró - Maresme. Mr. Gabriel Rissola (D-O-T Director) acts as Secretary of the association.
